Meet Our Reviewers

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame was founded in 1996 by the Kansas City Science Fiction and Fantasy Society and the J. Wayne and Elsie M. Gunn ~Center for the Study of Science Fiction~ at the University of Kansas. In 2004 the Society transferred the Hall of Fame duties to the new Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame in Seattle. Each year, four individuals are honored on the basis of their continued excellence and long-time contribution to the science fiction and fantasy field. You will notice that each year's selections include two living writers (at the time of their induction at least) and two who are deceased.
